- Pour the concrete footing and begin construction

- Build the extension's structure up to wall plate level

- Construct the roof framework
- Install fascia, soffits, and gutters
- Apply the necessary roof covering
- Perform internal alterations, knock-throughs, and demolitions
- Install structural steels and complete related works
- Fit windows and doors
- Fit the subfloor
- Complete internal framework and first-fix carpentry
- First-fix plumbing and electrical systems
- Insulate designated areas
- Install plasterboard on walls and ceilings
- Skim plaster all walls and ceilings
- Second-fix all joinery
- Fit the internal doors
- Install the kitchen and bathroom suites
- Lay the appropriate or desired floor coverings
- Second-fix the plumbing and electrics
- Paint the worked areas
